Angie wants people to understand her daughter even if they do not know sign language. Hence, the reason for the development of Talking Gloves.
With the prayers and social media help of our friends, Alexis was able to meet (online during pandemic) and sing with Kaylee Rogers. It was a wish come true for Alexis.
Alexis is learning how to use the gloves as she thanks the MiMu team for their work and dedication to this project. Her gloves have to be costume made for her tiny hands, and this video shows her 2nd prototype.
It is believed the final version of Talking Gloves will be able to sound out words for reading and speech development.
Once programmed, the gloves can speak any language!
